When the Dogo Argentino gained full recognition from the American Kennel Club in 2020, it gave the opportunity for the breed to participate in a wide range of AKC events. While Dogos have long been known for their strength, drive, and courage, the world of performance sports offered a new way to showcase their versatility and intelligence. This page honors the first Dogo Argentinos to earn AKC performance titles in areas such as obedience, coursing, scent work and more. Through their achievements, these dogs and their handlers are not only proving the breed’s amazing capabilities - they are also helping to shine a positive light on the breed we love!
